EPA and Loudoun County have been gathering input on potential future use options for the Hidden Lane Landfill Site to inform final cleanup, planning and redevelopment.
The online survey to share input on potential use options closed on September 23, 2019.
Information gathered during this visioning process will be summarized into a final reuse assessment to describe the range of future use options that might be suitable based on site features and allowable land use. In the following weeks, an updated reuse assessment will be provided.
In the meantime, the draft reuse assessment that accompanied the survey is available for reference. The future use options outlined in the presentation are based on discussions held to date, site suitability and allowable uses based on local land use, such as zoning.
A public meeting was held on April 9, 2019 to gather initial ideas and input on future options for the Hidden Lane Landfill property. Please click here to download a summary of the input provided during the meeting.
